Annual Hands-on-Harvest Festival goes into overtime

For the first time ever, the Robertson Wine Valley will welcome the public with open arms for its annual harvest from 1 February until 30 March 2014 with its Hands-on-Harvest Festival. Traditionally this festival was held only one weekend a year, but due to popular demand, the event will now be stretched over two months.

Activites include grape picking, bunch sorting, and stomping your own grapes. Or for a more leisurely pace, experience the intricate art of wine making, wine tasting or take a trip through the vineyards by tractor or on horseback, followed by a picnic.

As some of the wineries are not traditionally open to the public, there is a focus on hosting a series of intimate events, ensuring that visitors are treated to a unique "hands-on" experience. As space is limited, booking is essential and to be made direct with participating wineries.

So come for the day, the week, or stay the entire two months of harvest and experience all that this beautiful valley has to offer during its Hands-on-Harvest Festival.
