A true exhibition celebration

2013 Durban HOMEMAKERS Expo | 3-6 October Durban Exhibition Centre

The 11th Durban HOMEMAKERS Expo, held from 3-6 October at the Durban Exhibition Centre was once again a roaring success. Visitors were streaming in to get the best deals and the best home products in the area.

The "What's It Worth" Antique Show was hosted by the Durban HOMEMAKERS Expo in conjunction with Thunder Auctioneers and it was an absolute hit. Visitors were queuing to get their free evaluation by the panel of experts.

Congratulations to our award winning exhibitors. Top accolades went to Hey Jude who won the Overall Award for Exhibitor Excellence.

Gold Awards went to: Brushwood, Abacus Gardens, Windovert, African Shade, Hisense, What Works Designs, Expert Kitchens, Frameless Glass, Shower Solutions & Cover Frameless and My Garage.

Silver Awards went to: Lavaplastic, Pedego, Crystal Gallery, Chubb Fire & Security, The Bed Store, DSTV, Sweet Temptations, Martinnaise, Value Fencing and Maxidor.

Bronze Awards went to: Dirt Trapper, Pro Bac, Epromo Flameless Candles, Blue Bay Furniture, Awesome Awnings, Art Tech, Inovar, Global Beauty, Africote, Quick Switch and Eagle Eye Securi Fire.

The lucky winner of the grand Home Makeover Competition was John Geach. John walked away with home products to the value of R120,000! Congratulations to John and thank you to our amazing prize sponsors: Elephant Shower Doors, Chubb Fire & Security, Hisense, Bed for Africa, Luban Sofa and Snappy Chef.

And last but not least, a big thank you to the Durban community who without thinking twice supported out CSI project, A Brick in the Wall. The full amount will be donated to the Assissi Children's Shelter in Durban.
