Great work built on good values by Kingdom Agency

Isn't it refreshing when people go ahead and do what they said they were going to do? Reflecting on a year of creative work that challenges old standards and sets new ideals.

When Kingdom launched mid-2016, they set out to be an insight, strategy and creative agency that makes a difference. Their triple-win philosophy centres on: good message for brand, good message for audience and a greater good for society. So often we’ve seen high ideals fall away in the face of economic constraints, tight deadlines and careworn consumers; but Kingdom has soared above it all and lived up to their promise and more.

It’s about meaning. Through their work, Kingdom has created a rich world for their clients filled with resonance and imagination. For Rennies they identified a beautiful brand purpose that they brought to life in a short video designed to enable Rennies’ personnel to relate to the message and be reminded of how important their contribution is to living this purpose fully. It’s about change. Caring for the environment is one of Kingdom’s key focuses. Kingdom, along with Rennies Travel, helped build awareness around an incredible initiative by patron of the oceans, Lewis Pugh, involving the biggest beach clean up in the world…ever. Over three million kilograms of waste were removed from the beaches of Mumbai and the resulting message moved people around world. View it here:

It’s about heart. Human connection is a cornerstone of the work that comes out of Kingdom. “Home is our story” was their first campaign with Seeff. Working hand-in-hand to activate the insight that property is more than a transaction; it's about people, their stories and shared experience. This made for a compelling campaign, as well as an internal video-based coaching series for Seeff staff that significantly shifted the way they work and aligned the brand inside and out. It’s about positive influence. Kingdom has just developed a fresh Hi-Tec campaign. “Live Supernatural” launches next month with events across Cape Town that aim to provide a fun and engaging platform for young people to get outdoors, be healthy, connect with nature and meet exciting new networks. The first event is on Saturday the 28th of October and starts on Signal Hill. Follow it here: www.livesupernatural.co.za

For Kingdom founders, Herman Wallis and Donna Mathews, it’s all about integrity. The reward has been that they attract like-minded clients and do work they are all very proud of. And, we’re not the only ones who’ve noticed: Kingdom Agency is also a finalist in the celebrated 2017 Sage Small Business Awards with CapeTalk.

A big salute to Kingdom for a year of re-imagining everyday advertising as a way to do good, improve lives and change perceptions. We look forward to seeing what’s next:
