Klipdrift runs tongue-in-cheek rugby campaign

To capitalise on the excitement generated by the rugby being played in New Zealand, Draftfcb Cape Town turned its talent for word-play to an on-consumption poster campaign for Distell brand, Klipdrift.

Executions featured the iconic bottle - or components of it, like the screw cap - to illustrate select rugby terms... viewed through the Klipdrift lover's eyes. For example, 'the advantage line' was shown as the level of brandy in an unopened bottle of Klippies; a 'scrum cap' depicted using a bent and buckled screw cap; a bottle of Klipdrift and brandy glasses used to demonstrate where the 'loose prop' would position himself before a scrum; and a block of ice falling into a raised glass the 'up and under' concept.
