Damelin Boksburg wins the PMR Gold Award

The prestigious Gold Award for 2012 was presented to Damelin Boksburg as the top Higher Education institution in the Ekurhuleni region for the third time. This accolade marks the second award in under a month for the brand, with the private education leader scooping the Diamond Arrow award in November 2012, for the top Higher education institution in Johannesburg. Damelin received the Gold Award at the Ekurhuleni Leaders and Achievers Breakfast on December 3, 2012 at the Birchwood Hotel, Boksburg.

Coordinated by the PMR Africa company, the Gold Award was awarded to Damelin Boksburg for their commendable efforts to boost brand awareness and community outreach programmes. The Boksburg campus has been actively involved in the community, and recently coordinated a field trip to the Johannesburg Zoo, for the children of St Francis Home.

The award acknowledges the commitment and dedication of Damelin staff and the calibre of our part-time course offerings. A strong brand requires a strong team, and Damelin employs staff members that are skilled in their respective areas of expertise.

According to Boksburg General Manager, Ina van Deventer, "the Gold Award illustrates that we are putting our best foot forward and it is very encouraging when the community recognises our work. As a team, we are proud of the Damelin brand".
