Oasys includes Durban's beachfront in the city's Fashion Week catwalk

Oasys Innovations ensured that Durban's beachfront provided a backdrop with the infrastructure they delivered to MTN's Durban Fashion Week, which took place during the last week of June.
Oasys includes Durban's beachfront in the city's Fashion Week catwalk

Held at the Suncoast Casino and Entertainment World, Oasys Innovations supplied a wide range of infrastructure that ensured the success of the event and the satisfaction of their client, the event's organiser, MTN. Says Jonathan Maybury, Key Account Executive for MTN at Oasys Innovations: “Oasys Events supplied and erected the 80mx40m marquee located on the beachfront, right in front of the casino. With glass frontage facing the ocean, the guests all had a magnificent view of the ocean and this really added to the atmosphere. The Durban coastline became one of the unique draw cards for this event.”

Brian Prowling, Chief Executive Officer for Oasys Innovations Durban agrees: "Our exhibitions team provided the infrastructure in the foyer for this event, which is a key part of the city's fashion landscape. This included registration counters, the DJ's booth, the bar, the lounge area for guests to relax and enjoy the event, the MTN Black Berry stand and MTN's 'Knock Knock' promotional stand. MTN's Durban Fashion Week provides fashionistas in Durban the opportunity to experience the global 'Fashion Week' phenomenon and gives our own local designers a unique opportunity to present their designs to buyers and the public. They have an opportunity to gain valuable experience and hone their skills and represent some of the best creativity and design that our city has to offer."

In addition Oasys Innovations graphics department printed and applied the graphic wall wrap, which covered the walls inside the Media Area and the foyer. Concludes Maybury: "All the elements provided by the Oasys team came together seamlessly and enhanced the venue for both the guests and the participants."
