Guerrilla IMC is growing!

The only gorilla at the Johannesburg zoo has become a Guerrilla Gorilla. He joined the Johannesburg Zoo back in 2004, from his original home of Germany and now he is a part of the Guerrilla IMC family.

Born back in 1985, this 200kg Western Lowland Gorilla can seem quite intimidating - but give him his favourite snack of fresh fruit and plum jam and he'll show his softer side.

"We at Guerrilla IMC have always been nature lovers, this was a perfect opportunity to give a little to make a difference, we hope that Makokou is the first of many animals we can adopt and help support. As our business grows we will continue to take on projects that can improve lives; be it a Gorilla's, the community or an individual's," Matthew Palmer Sales Director Guerrilla IMC

Guerrilla IMC is the kind of company that does that little bit extra; like ensuring that the areas around our sites are kept clean, planting trees, developing garden areas (new project planned for end 2011) and doing our best to be a Carbon Neutral office.

Along with Gorillas', many other creatures at the Johannesburg Zoo are also on the endangered species list which is where Guerrilla IMC comes in. We would like to make a difference by recruiting sponsors from agency's and clients; we are planning that with every major outdoor agreement signed with us, a different animal could have the opportunity to be adopted on behalf of the client.

Although we won't be bringing him along to our business negotiations - we will always have our 200kg Makokou as a key player in our organisation.
