Algoa FM has set up a bank account, through its Algoa Cares social outreach programme, to raise funds for the Eden Lions and the People Opposing Poverty in Society Foundation following the devastating fires in the Garden Route and Port Elizabeth. In addition to collecting monetary donations, the radio station will also be accepting donations in the form of warm clothes, blankets, nappies, water, and dry foodstuffs.
