The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa has released draft regulations on the use of TV white space in the African region, ahead of the Dynamic Spectrum Alliance's fifth annual global summit which will be held in Cape Town from 9-11 May 2017.
The draft regulations shed light on the progress South Africa has been making in providing access to affordable internet through dynamic spectrum access; the regulations are open for public consultation until 19 May 2017.
