SANDF troops will fast-rope from an Oryx in the SANDF’s arena display at the Rand Show 2017. In this simulated ambush demonstration, the Gripen and Hawk fighter jets and the Oryx, Rooivalk and other helicopters will join in a mock battle punctuated with thunderous battlefield explosions. It’s all happening from 10h00 on Friday, 14 April, to Monday, 17 April, at the Rand Show, Joburg Expo Centre, Nasrec.
