    WAN-IFRA announces World Digital Media Awards

    The 2015 winners of the WAN-IFRA World Digital Media Awards, which recognise publishers that have created ground breaking digital products that engage readers while increasing online business, have been announced at the World Publishing Expo in Hamburg.

    The winners are drawn from World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) regional digital media awards in Europe, Asia and Latin America. These awards are part of its wide variety of awards programs, designed to recognise and share best publishing cases across the global industry.

      • Best Digital Advertising Campaign - Telekurier Online Medien, Austria for 'Bildung Braucht Innovation' (Education needs innovation)
      • Best Data Visualisation Project - Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation for Norwegian homicides over a 10-year period
      • Best in Tablet Publishing - Axel Springer, Germany and Aftenposten, Norway
      • Best Mobile Service - DIE WELT, Germany for KOMPAKT
      • Best Reader Engagement - Grupo Clarín, Argentina for Ecosistema Digital
      • Best New Product - Verdens Gang (VG), Norway for minmote.no

      • Best Use of Online Video - The Straits Times - Singapore Press Holdings for 'It Changed My Life Series'
