African Film Development Foundation calls for country represetatives

The motivation was spawned by the lack of accessible funding and resource structure that should help African filmmakers realise true African stories from Africa's perspective. It will be a convergence of education, skills and arenas to expose the talented, budding and seasoned Africans in the business of film.

African Film Development Foundation will also enable a global collection and exhibition of African films in all genres at events and special seasons to create dynamism for African film business by engaging various and diverse audiences throughout and beyond Africa.

This year, the African Film Development Foundation seeks to implement several film funding and educational programs across the continent. To that effect, the Foundation seeks country representatives from: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Namibia, Morocco, South Sudan, Zimbabwe, Chad, Mozambique, Angola, Burundi, Madagascar, Burkina Faso, Togo and Rwanda.

    Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree/diploma/five years experience in media or any other any relevant educational background (film reel will be required)
  • Adequate experience in events planning and management, and artiste management,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High sense of initiative
  • Ability to work extra hard and deliver results.

If you meet the requirements, send your detailed curriculum vitae and show reel to gro.muitrosnocmlifnacirfaeht@ofni or visit www.theafricanfilmconsortium.org for more information.
