#WomensMonth: SunshineCo. to exhibit female photographers work

SunshineCo. will be hosting an all women exhibition, themed Through my Eyes on 3 August 2017 as its First Thursday event in Johannesburg at its studios in Rosebank on the Keyes Art Mile.

As part of its Women’s Month campaign, aimed at raising the profile of female photographers in South Africa, SunshineCo. is calling on all female photographers to submit photographs that captures the essence, and/ or celebrates the life of women in South Africa.

All finalists will receive a printed canvas of their work, with winners announced on the night of 3 August 2017. Prizes include a free studio day, including all lighting gear as first price, a Bouncelite Flash diffuser + BlackRapid camera strap as second prize and a BlackRapid camera strap as third prize.

Professional photographer and SunshineCo.’s managing director, Adrian Nakic, is passionate about photography being recognised as an artform.

“We would like to invite all (female) Johannesburg and Pretoria-based photographers to enter their best image, depicting the theme #ThruMyEyes, for a chance for it to be showcased at next month’s First Thursday event.” says Nakic.
