    MCQP presents Halloween

MCQP presents Halloween will be held at 30 Napier Street in Cape Town on 28 October 2017. This year's theme is Pennywise the Dancing Clown from Stephen King's horror novel and motion picture It.

“For those who thought that clown parties are only for kids, think again! We’ll be honouring the scariest clown of them all. Yes, you guessed it, the clown everyone loves to hate - Pennywise from the movie, It. The remake of the original Stephen King book broke all box office records after bagging $117m during its opening weekend in the United States earlier this year and was equally as popular locally. And now, Pennywise is coming for you and it’s time to get spooky with us. So come join us at MCQP presents Halloween and ‘you’ll float down here, too,’” says Ian McMahon, director of MCQP.

Candice Heyns, MCQP’s executive project manager, adds: “Coulrophobics, those with an irrational fear of clowns, will face their worst fear, but need not worry. Good always overcomes evil. Our barmen will take exceptionally good care of you all night long.”

Those attending MCQP presents Halloween will be able to enjoy both a downstairs and upstairs party area, and the line-up include DJs Chad, Groovy Q, Sole Elos (from Germany), Candice Heyns, B_Type, and Kanan7 vs El Gordo.

Heyns cautions, however: “Don’t forget - you have to dress up! Otherwise, you will be ‘penny-lised’ by Pennywise himself. Believe me, that isn’t something you want to encounter.”

Tickets are R150 per person and are available at www.quicket.co.za.
