Club Travel Corporate celebrates its birthday, grants 30 wishes

Club Travel Corporate, as part of its socio-economic development strategy, called on its various stakeholders - including its staff and clients - to submit a wish for any charity, cause, business or individual in need as part of its recent 30 Wishes campaign.
The Tomorrow Trust received a donation of blankets for the orphaned or vulnerable children attending their holiday school programme, as part of Club Travel Corporate's 30 Wishes campaign.
The Tomorrow Trust received a donation of blankets for the orphaned or vulnerable children attending their holiday school programme, as part of Club Travel Corporate's 30 Wishes campaign.

It then selected and granted 30 of these wishes, one for every year Club Travel has been in business, all granted during the company’s birthday month.

“Through this campaign, we contributed a total of R250,000, which is only a percentage of our total annual spend,” said Wally Gaynor, managing director of Club Travel. Previous beneficiaries include the CHOC Foundation, the JDI Foundation, the Reach for a Dream Foundation, CANSA and the SPCA.

All Club Travel Corporate’s socio-economic development and corporate social investment initiatives are managed and delivered through Club Cares, the company’s dedicated CSI vehicle. Club Cares is based on the principles of inclusivity and shared responsibility. All Club Travel Corporate’s staff contribute monthly to Club Cares, the company matches the staff contribution, and this money is then added to its total socio-economic development investment.
