The Loeries and DStv joined forces for a day to match the frenetic pace of Lagos, filled with constant movement and energy. The Loeries Roadshow and DStv VIP Showcase, held on 25 March at the Victoria Crowne Plaza, was an exciting and inspiring event with around 200 people attending.

Loerie entries are now open, and those that get their work in by 15 April 2013; get 10% off their entry fee. The final deadline for entries is 31 May and agencies or marketers throughout Africa and the Middle East can enter their work.
The deadline for work to be entered into the Loeries Ubuntu Award is 15 June 2012. This category recognises the positive influence of brands on the social and physical environment and rewards collective creative effort that has gone into promoting the long-term sustainability of environment and the upliftment of communities throughout Africa and the Middle East.
While there can be many ways of analysing any competition, this year the Loeries has introduced official winners rankings which aim to be a transparent mechanism for reporting the outcome of the awards. With the release of the printed Loeries annual, additional rankings will be published, including top 10 tables for all the individual credits, eg ECD, illustrator, writer and director, as well as post production/VFX, etc.
